Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Plea vs. Conviction
Is a plea of guilty and a guilty conviction the same thing? If an application asks if I have ever been convicted of a felony, but I pled guilty, do I answer yes or no?

Re: Plea vs. Conviction
You have been convicted of a crime if you plead guilty unless you got deferred probation. If you completed the deferred probation, then you do not have a conviction.
