Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
The police keep coming to my mother's house looking for my sister because they have a warrent for her arrest. The problem is my sister has not lived with my mother for over 10 years, and my mother tells the police officers this, but they do not care and charge into the house with weapons out every time, There are small children that live with my mother. I call the police station to see what can be done about this. The officer said that as long as my sister has a warrent out on her and it has my mother address on there as her place of residents, that they can come in time they like. Now I don't know if this is true are not, what he said. I just retired out of the military and have not been back for a while after spending most my time over sea's. I am not use to dealing with the police. Is there anything that can be done about this.

Get your sister to turn herself in. Otherwise, tell mom to cooperate with the police. I tell my clients to think of them as scared guys with guns. She needs to calm down so they can calm down.
