Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Police are investigating a case involving an adult sexting with a minor who is 25 years younger than him. They will try to recover texts from the minors phone, but will/can they look at all her texts/pictures or only the ones relating to the case? And if they do read other messages and find out other things that happened to the minor (like sexting with others she did years ago when she was 14 with several other people she met online), will law enforcement do anything about it?

Depends on permission from the owner - which could be the parents, and whether there is a warrant and if so, the extent of the warrant.
