Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
polygraph
My job is making a case against me and they said if I take a polygraph that they would drop the case. I don't think I should take it eventhough I am inocent there is a possibility the machine and rreader might say I am lying. The company claims they have phsyical evidence but it has not been confirmed because it is being sent into the lab for confirmation of DNA. The area where they say they got DNA from was open for over 12 hours. I think the polygraph is a ploy.

Re: polygraph
Hello there,
There a lot of article/studies on the internet that discuss the validity of polygraphs.
Polygraphs are not admissible in court because they are not scientifically valid and there is too much error in their interpretation.
I would not advise anyone to take a polygraph.
Sincerely,
Erick Platten
