Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
POM charge
my roomate was caught with marijuana in the house and they let me go because it wasn't mine. he even signed a form saying it was his. now they've issued a warrant for my arrest two months later charging me with possession of marijuana. can they do that? what are my chances of winning something like that?

You need a lawyer to assist you in this matter, not an internet question. A lawyer will need to review the state's file. It certainly seems you have some facts on your side, but it also seems to be the case that the room mate is going to testify against you unless the police say they saw the pot in your possession.
