The maximum penalty for a class "B" misdemeanor is 180 days in jail and/or up to a $2000 fine. Any time jail time is possible you need an attorney. The state will appear in court with at least a couple of experienced attorneys who prosecute these crimes everyday. You need all the help you can get. I would be pleased to help you.
