can I get married to a UK citizen if I have this charge on my record?

Hello there,
In America people a have a fundamental right to procreate and have a family. Possession of drug paraphernalia in Texas is only a class C misdemeanor and is equivalent to a traffic citation.
I do not foresee how this charge could affect anything.
