Possession of marijuana

i was riding in a car with passesngers who had marijuana on them, during the search cops found some under the seat of the passesnger, i was sitting in the back in the middle and was still charged with marijuna even when not owning it, what should i do and is it possible to fight it.

You have a good case since there were other people in the car.

For you to be found guilty the State will have to prove that you possessed the marijuana.

How are they to know if you possessed it or not?
