Possession of marijuana
My son is facing arraigment on possession less than 2 grams? What does it mean?

It is a class b misdemeanor. He is facing up to 6 months in jail and a $2,000 fine. Arraignment is where he pleads guilty or not guilty. It is also when he will be appointed an attorney if he doesnot have one or can't afford one.
