Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was on probation in Dallas for a dui. I paid all my fines and fees and was fulfilling all my probation requirements. I was offered a good job in San Antonio, but wasn't allowed out of Dallas. I decided to go anyway. Now I'm back in Dallas and want to settle my debt. A bailbondsmen informed me I owe $750, probably for a probation violation. My id is expired and I'm afraid of being arrested at the DPS - I'd prefer to turn myself in, any advice?

The bondsman is only wanting money for the settlement of the bond - not for the finality of the case!!!!! Call a local lawyer to get this mess straightened out. YES, you WILL be arrested at DPS if you go in.
