Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I'm on probation for a DWI and was arrested for abuse family. My wife did not press charges. I understand the State of Texas will. My question is I go to my probation officer who on the 19th of December. Will probation arrest my at that point for violating probation or will they wait to see what happens with the assault case. Thanks.

Probation has to file a motion to revoke and the judge then has to issue a warrant for your arrest. Check to see if there is a warrant for you. I suggest you get a bondsman willing to get you a bond for an MTR. Suggest you consult with a criminal defense attorney in your area.
