Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I've been on probation for DWI in Texas for a year now. It officially ends in two days. I have had a breathylizer interlock installed in my vehicle as a term of probation. I failed the test once (which is a violation) and I don't think my PO ever noticed because she never brought it up. Now, in order to get it removed from my vehicle, I need an authorization slip from my PO. If I ask her for it, it will remind her to check all of my results.
My question is, if she finds out about this violation after my year of probation is over, will she still be able to press charges?

No. Once your probation is over it is over. They must file any motion to revoke probation before the time period is over.
