Probation Information
What are the chances of probation on the charges of agravated assault- bodily injury to a family member,
agravated assault, and sexual assault on a minor under the age of 16. The individual who is charged with theese crimes is a 31 year old male, and these are first time things. He has never been in trouble before. The assault charges are a seperate case from the sex. assault case.

Probation is always a possibility for a first-time offender. The facts of the case will control, however, and if the minor was badly injured physically or emotionally the chances of a jail term go up.
The law is much harsher on crimes of violence that on non-violent crimes.
