Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
On probation for manslaughter in texas and probation term says do not operate motor vehicle. can my P.O request that i have that removed with a clause(interlock device) or do i have to consult my lawyer(more $$$)?

Your p.o. can ask your judge but that generally will get a NO answer. It is better to consult with a lawyer who can provide the judge with information that will make the judge comfortable in allowing you to drive while on his/her probation, and comfortable that whatever your issue before has been addressed so you are not a danger to the voters the judge answers to.
