Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
probation revocation
a friend was on probation previously and completed that probation - then placed on state jail felony probation for theft - recently was caught hunting illegally - had a gun, trespassing, etc. - game warden gave him two tickets, but the landowner is going to press charges - is it likely that he will now serve jail time?

Re: probation revocation
It's hard to say based on these facts alone. It will depend upon your friend's behavior otherwise, his current probation status, his probation officer's attitude towards him, the level of anger of the landowner, etc. He should hire a lawyer.
