Re: probation revocation
To get a definative answer to that question, you would have to either on your own, or by hiring an attorney, investigate to see if there is an active warrant for your arrest. It is unlikely that someone would actually be waiting to arrest you if you applied for your ID. However, it is possible that the IDing agency could notify law enforcement of your application. Your best bet is to 1) Confirm that a warrant exists, and then 2) Surrender yourself to the Court on the warrant and clear up the open case. You should hire an attorney to do this. We do a lot of these type of cases for out-of-state defendants. If you need assistance, contact me through our web site.
Re: probation revocation
I agree with what the other 3 attorneys have said. In addition, I strongly recommend that you take care of your probation matter as soon as you reasonably can, because an open warrant for your arrest could potentially subject you to arrest at any time in any state. So, for example, even if you're 1000 miles away from the probation state, you could still end up arrested as part of a routine traffic stop for a speeding ticket after the police officer runs a routine computer check on your identity.
Re: probation revocation
You should consider retaining a Massachusetts attorney to try to clear things up with your probation officer and determine if there is an outstanding warrant for your arrest. Good Luck!
