Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

probation revoked on drug charge

my 27 yr old boyfriend was on probation for selling drugs in 2002. in 2007 a 16 year old girl became friends with him and later obsessed with him. when he realized she was obsessed he ended the friendship. she had already known he was on probation. she went to the cops and told them she had been having sex with him and he gave her drugs. Texas revoked his probation but they have no proof he did anything. the girl gave 3 written statements and each time changed her story a little. she admitted that she uses drugs on a regular basis.

he has followed his probation completely and has not gotten in any trouble until she came along. he was even on the deans honor roll at school. the girl lied about everything and people are willing to testify to that. the night they hung out other people were there and she told them that she really wished he would be with her and they told her that would never happen and it angered her.

my boyfriend has been sitting in jail for about 2 months waiting to go to court. we was given a plea bargain of 10 years. what should he do??

Re: probation revoked on drug charge

This is an issue for him to work out with his lawyer. He has a right to a contested hearing on a probation violation.
