Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
if you were on probation did all you time complete the required classes but didn't pay all you fines and probation fees and a MTR is issued and your picked up on it is your right to see a judge within 48 hours voided.

The right to be brought in front of a magistrate within 48 hours is for new charges, not for motions to revoke probation. Did they really file a MTR because you were behind on fees & fines? They could have just extended your probation to let you continue to pay or unsatisfactorily terminated the probation. If truly that is all there is to the MTR, that is ridiculous.
