Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Probation Violation
My dad was sentenced to ten years probation. Well on his 9th year he broke his probation and was sentenced to 13 years in prison. What can we do now? Doesn't the 9 years he did do count for something?

Re: Probation Violation
Hello there,
Since he violated terms and conditions of his probation he was revoked. That being so he gets no credit for the time he was on probation.
Sorry, that is just the way it is.
Sincerely,
