Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Probation Violation

Good afternoon.I am currently on adult probation for a felony. I am on my 3rd and final year of probation. Last weekend I was arrested for Public Intoxication. My question is will this be a violation of my probation? My papers do not rule me from drinking or going to bars. This was a simple catch and release arrest, I went to detox and they released me in the morning. Now I know I am not supposed to be arrested at all. I am asking because I am wondering if this will show up when I report to probation. If not then I don't want to tell my probation officer if I don't have to. Thank you.

Chris

Re: Probation Violation

Your probation officer is likely to find out anyway, at least in the big cities.
