Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Probation violation
My husband went to jail for not paying his fines and I was wondering if paying his fines before he saw the judge would be in his favor or not. He has been in jail for seven days and has not been told anything at all.He was served a warrent when he was picked up.

Re: Probation violation
I would seek an attorney who could negotiate that deal for your husband. If failing to pay the fees is all that he did, you have a good chance of using payment to your advantage.
