Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
probation violation
i am on probation for possession of a controlled substance and i was arrested this weekend for the same thing. how do i keep from going to jail when i have to see my probation officer next. does it help that someone is going to testify in court that the drugs were not mine and that i did not know of them

You must report your arrest to your PO immediately. Waiting until your next appointment will assure your arrest.
