Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

old probation violation

I was put on probation in 1996. went to SAFFP program(prison) in 2001. was released to 1/2way house but left before released in 2002. moved to alabama.caught charges in alabama in 2005. went to prison in alabama in 2/2006. texas was notified before i went to prison said would not come get me. county jail offered to bring me to tx...tx still said no they did not want them to bring me.was released in 7/07 tx notified refused to come get me. went back to prison in alabama in 8/07 and released again in12/07 tx notified again and still would not come get me. my original charge in tx was DUI/intoxication assault in '95. I want to start my life over in tx with my family. can I do this? or is there a chance that they will arrest me for probation violation? I have not reported since 9/02. I am in tx now but am looking over my shoulder every day. What do I do to remedy this?

Re: old probation violation

You already know that you need to hire a lawyer to make inquiries about your current legal and warrant status. That attorney would then be in a position to negotiate a resolution to the problem.
