probation violation
5yr. probation violation due to bust for position of marajuana (1 joint) all in 1971 in Texas. Am I still wanted?

The state had a duty of due diligence to file a motion to revoke your probation and also issue a warrant for your arrest. After they issued the warrant they had a duty to use all due diligence to arrest you and move to revoke your probation.
If nothing has happened in 37 years I doubt anything is going to happen anytime soon.
