Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I am on probation for 10 years. I have all my court cost and fines paid. Because of the economy and other factors I am behind on my fees. When I was first placed on probation I had a job as a loan officer and made very good money and stayed current on my fees. One day my po comes to my house with another man (a police officer I found out later) asked questions and looked through the house. Later that afternoon a police officer called my supervisor at work and told her I was on felony probation and the next day I was fired because of it. Can I be revoked because I have no job and can't pay my fees?

These are conditions of your probation. If you violate any condition of your probation, it can form the grounds for a motion to revoke. Whether the judge would grant such a motion is doubtful, especially since you did not quit. It may be against the law for a bank to employ a convicted felon.

My suggestion is that you obtain the reasons for you dismissal in writing. Make sure that you comply with the other conditions of your probation and that you immediately start looking for another job. Finally I reccomend that you retain an attorney regarding your dismissal and the probation.
