Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Okay... I'm on Probation until 12/2010 (the probation was for 2 years)... I had to pay court cost, etc... of $2,100 dollars and 80 hours CSR... Note: This has been the frist time I have every be in trouble with the law...
I have paid all but $800 dollars and I need to finish 5 hours of CSR... I have been unemployed and have not been able to finish paying my court fees... so I'm behind on my payments... So I guess this is a Violation of my Probation... what do I do... or go for help...

Continue making visits and finish the five hours of community service. Do not skip a visit. Ever. since you are unemployed, you have time to finish the community service hours. Do that.
As I see it, you can ask the court to modify your probation and reduce the fine by $800 on grounds of hardship. Or you can ask the court to allow you to do additional community service hours to "work off" the fine.
Finally you can ask the court to terminate your probation "unsat".
Review these options with your attorney and probation officer after you have finished the community service hours.
Make sure that you have receipts to document the payments you have made and the community service hours you have done. Don't rely on probation to keep this information. They are busy people and can loose things.
