problem with representation

recently i turned myself in on a warrent I saw judge told him I cant afford a lawyer judge denied me a court appointed lawyer but I wasn't lying when I said I can't afford one my 2nd court date is coming up and I still don't have lawyer need to know my rights and how to get representation I need I have no money but need a lawyer badly

I agree with Mr. Brashear, and want to add that you should contact at least 3-4 different attorneys, inquire about attorney fees and payment plans. If none are able to assist you, at least take their business cards back to the 2nd hearing with that explanation. Additionally, start looking for a second job to pay for a lawyer, and take copies of those applications to the 2nd hearing. All of this demonstrates to the court your efforts to retain your own counsel.

Based on what you have written and the appearance that you were able to bond out of jail; generally, the courts will view your ability to bond out as an ability to retain an attorney.
