Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Proper Representation
How can I look up a lawyer's record? How can I find someone who would be willing to defend person doing life per improper representation? How do I get transcripts from trial?

The State Bar Association is the best organization to contact for providing information about lawyers and whether they are in good standing. As far as "records" go, I'm assuming that you mean win-loss. All you can do is ask, and ask other members of the legal community. Trial transcripts can be ordered by the attorney or by the inmate if he/she begins the procedure without the help of an attorney. Good luck!
