I was arrested for a misdameaner and I was never given or signed an inventory sheet, Upon my release my diamomd cross pendant was not in my property but the gold chain was. Are the police liable for the replacment value of my property?

Yes, if you can successfully prove the allegation. Which would be extremely difficult. (Are you wearing both in your bookin photo?)
