Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

how do you get someone prosecuted

My son in law is not a US citizen. He's a resident. He's from Peru. He married my daughter when she was 18 and forced her to continue living with me for a yr so I would not know of the marriage. I suspect he was interested in using the marriage to help him get citizenship and he was afraid I would get the marriage annulled. After she got preg and I told her to move in and live with him and get married and be a family not knowing they had been married for a year all ready. Before she met him he got a 15 yr old preg and he was 24. He denies he is the father because the kid has a birth defect. After finding out that and the fact he had a 16 girl friend while she was preg. she filed for divorce. He wants full custody if she won't give him 50% custody. If I wanted to notify the authorities about the statutory rape who would be most likely to follow up and prosecute him?? The girl who was 15 has told my daughter she would help her if he made it difficult for her to get a divorce but she wants him to stay away from her daughter. My daughter wants full custody. Under what conditions could he get full custody. She works full time and goes to school. I help support her whenever she needs my help.

It is clear that you are concerned about your daughter, but you present an extremely complicated situation, that is beyond the ability of this forum to properly address. There are numerous issues to confront -- and if your daughter is going to wage a custody fight, she is going to have to have a lawyer, and the sooner the better.
