prosecution of daughter for selling a car that I am a co-signer on
My daughter sold a car that I co-cignedon for $10,000.00 cash and she had no title to the car as it is financed thru Chrysler Financial. Creditor is looking for me for payment, phone number of person who bought the car is disconnected, what recourse do I have?

You might have a shot at theft but this seems to fit well under Fraudulent Transfer of a Motor Vehicle (See Penal Code Sec. 32.34). If you would like to pursue criminal charges, I would suggest contacting your local police department. If they dont want to get involved, contact the district attorney's office directly.
