Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Public Intoxication Options
I was celebrating a bachelor's party in Dallas this past weekend. I somehow got separated from the group and arrested for Public Intoxication. I want to know what the best course of action is to remove this incident from my permanent record. I do have any other offenses on my record and this is my first time being arrested. Should I fight in court or accept defered adjudication. After completing the terms of the court can I still get this incident removed from my record.

Re: Public Intoxication Options
you could fight it but should you take a deferred and complete it succussfully, Texas allows those records to be sealed at a later time. when do you have to go to court?
