Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Public Urination
My daughter was on a country road late at night heading to her friends grandma's house. She needed to use the rest room real bad and was unable to hold it. They pulled over and she blocked herself between the car door and a bush so no one would see. A policeman walked up and gave her a ticket for public urination. Yet, just this week she was diagnosed with a sever Urinary Tract Infection and has been having problems. She called the courts today and they stated that she had to pay a fine of $560.00 (crazy) and appear in court. Is there anything that I can do?

Re: Public Urination
Unless she wants that charge to appear on every record search, she needs to hire a lawyer.
