what are the punishments for carjacking and what penal code goes with it

If by carjacking you mean taking someone's car from them face to face with a knife or gun..that would be aggravated robbery and would carry a prison sentence of 5-99 or life and a fine up to $10,000.....with the possibility of probation...... Penal Code section 29.03
