Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
How can they?
How is it that I have been put on probation & have to report once a week & submit to weekly U.A's & pay probation fees when I am only out on bond & have not been convicted of a crime? Is this against my constitutional rights or am I guilty until proven innocent?

Re: How can they?
You are not on probation, you are on pretrial release. The Court can set any reasonable conditions it wishes for pretrial release, including the costs of pretrial supervision.
Your alternative is to wait in jail until your trial.
