Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Hello my question is this. i have a friend who is in prison for 50yrs. he has already done 13 but has aquired more for good behavior,education,work etc. how much time would he have to serve before he was considered for parole?

He must do at least 1/2 before he is even considered eligible for parole, and it would be very rare indeed for the parole board to grant parole on the first eligibility date for murder.
