Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Hi, My question is my husband's uncle was charged with felony animal abuse due to neglect and abandoment of a two dogs. He asked my husband to appear in court to testify that one of the dogs belonged to my husband. He was never summons to appear so he did not go to court. My husband is on parole and now his uncle is stating that the court issued a warrant for his arrest and possibly revoke his parole. Can that happen? We live in Houston Texas.

No. If your husband never received a subpoena to show up to court, then he had no duty to do so.
