Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Hello. My question is; Has the state of Texas passed any law or is there any law in effect that allows petitioning a deferred adjudication for "family violence" on an assault case that has been dismissed for almost 5 years with no conviction for expunge, pardon or to have the deferred adjudication record sealed?
Thank you kindly.

The case has not been dismissed if there was a deferred served. And no, there is no sealing of any record involving family violence.
