Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I had a question....I am now 18 years old, when I was 17, in Dec.2009 I ranaway with my boyfriend (he was 37) we left from Midland, TX to Oklahoma City. While living in Oklahoma I found out that I was pregnant in Feb. of 2010 they caught us. My parents went to pick me up at the juvenile jail and ever since that day, I have not known anything about my boyfriend, all I know is that he was also caught by the police. My parent pressed charges against him. But will he go to jail in Oklahoma or Midland? Thank you

He could be prosecuted in either place - it would just depend on the authorities to iron that out. You were considered an adult for purposes of the law of consent to sexual intercourse so he can't be charged with that. But, he could be charged with some kind of harboring a runaway or crossing state lines with a runaway because you are not an adult for purposes of choosing where you live until you are 18.
