Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Hello, I receive a noise violation citation 2 days after the night that my neighbors made the call to the police. As for the event of the night, my downstair neighbors knocked on my door, I answer and they asked for me to turn down the music and stop walking around or they would call the cops, I agreed to turn of the music but for them it wasn't enough. They ended up calling the cops, but once they got there I decide to not open the door, he knocked for 40 minutes disturbing the peace of all of my neighbors in the apartment complex and then left. By the time he got there, not even a beep was said so there is no way for him to even have a reading in a decibel scanner. What is the best course of action, can I get the ticket negated?

Number one: If you live in an apartment, stop throwing loud parties.

Number two: Fight the ticket. Go to the court and demand a jury trial.
