Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
If I received deferred justification and now I am applying for a job will prevent me from getting a job. The application had a question have you ever being convicted of anything other than a minor traffic ticket and pled no contest or rec'd probation. Should I answer yes and explain?

It is up to the individual employer on whether to hire someone with a criminal history, and you have a criminal history. You have not been convicted but you have pled guilty and you have received adult probation.
You should always explain if you think you can sufficiently explain to keep you in the running (and many times you can.)
