Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
After being recently arrested, I am trying to get a copy of the probable cause affidavit and arrest warrant. Since the police haven't filed their case, I won't be able to get copies from the district clerk will I? Do the police have to give me the copies they have or do I have to wait until they are filed?

Generally you get the copies from the district clerk's office OR your attorney will be able to get a copy for you.
