Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
i was recently arrested while driving cross country in imperial county california. i was pulled over for speeding and after finding drugs in my wallet my car was searched. in the search they found an embosser, reader writer, and some other fraud related items. i was arrested for possesion, and possesion of fraud making materials. i was held for three days and released with a certificate stating i wasnt arrested only "detained" my question is regarding my belongings not only the ones taken as potential evidence but the stuff in the car wich was impounded. am i entitled to getting all my belongings back.? including the rental car ( minus the ilegal fraud equipment of course) and how do i go about getting my things back?
