Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Recently my brother was sentenced on a drug charge. I was unable to attend his hearing and his court appointed attorney is away on vacation. I will not be able to visit with him for two weeks but I want to know how much time he was given. Is there someone else I can contact regarding the outcome of his sentencing? Is this public information?

Contact the district clerk's office with his name and DOB. They should be able to tell you what sentence your brother received. It is public record.
