Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I have recently completed a pretrial diversion program in TX. I am applying for a job at a hospital which asks the following.
For any offense, other than a minor traffic violation, have you:
a. Been convicted?
b. Pled no contest?
c. Received deferred adjudication?
d. Been given probation in lieu of sentencing?
My question is whether choice D would apply?

True, it may seem like mostly a semantic distinction, but it is definitely a valid legal one as well--if you were in a pretrial diversion program, you were not on probation, and you can answer that question "no".
