Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was recently fired from my medical assisting job, 1 week ago today for calling in 'narcotic' prescriptions for myself, without permission. The pharmacy flagged this and called my boss; I was fired. Now, this is my 1st offense; never been to jail, ticket, etc...Clean record. However, I am the primary parent of my 2 toddlers, which are currently in my exhusbands custody. He knows the reason I was fired and is keeping my children from me although I am a very capable, responsible woman; I do not abuse drugs. Question is: My employer was obligated to file a police report on me and I still havent heard from the police. What will happen to me, or should I call the police myself? Will I get arrested, fined, warrent, lose custody, etc...????
