Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I recently met a man on a dating service who says he lived in Georgia and was working in South Africa. I loaned him a bunch of money which was wired to a supposed doctor that was performing surgery on his daughter. Of course, he dropped me. What can I do now, if anything?

It sounds like you've been scammed. I'm afraid there is little if any chance of even finding this person, much less getting your money back from him. Sorry I can't be more encouraging.
