Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
if i record a phone call with my attorney pertaining to my case does he have to know its being recorded in order for me to present it as evidence in court in the state of texas?

In Texas, it takes the consent of only 1 party to a phone call to legally record it. To be admissible in court, the consenting party must be available to testify that they consented and that the recorder was working properly, that they have listened to the tape and it recorded properly and there have been no additions or deletions.
