Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Remove DWI's from Record
How could somebody get those removed from the record so that potential employers would not be able to obtain that information?
The person I am referring to, has had several DWI's and one concealed weapon charge in the past. Is there a way to remove all those from the record?

Re: Remove DWI's from Record
Under unusual circumstances there can sometimes be an "expungement" of a person's prior criminal record, but that is rarely done and usually only to prevent a manifest injustice.
As a practical matter there is no way to get several DWI's and a weapons charge removed from any record, that of the police upon arrest or those of the courts who processed the charges.
