Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
repeat offender
my boyfriend is in jail for a now 3rd degree felony asault but im trying to convince the lawyer i hired and the D.A that nothing of the sort happened no injury . I've dropped the charges and plead to the DA but the court has enhanced the charge to a felony. I'm trying to get the lawyer to keep the charge a misdemeanor cause my boyfriend is on parole and a repeat offender what can happen
